We started NM Gloves with a simple idea: finding the right pair of gloves shouldn’t be hard. Most people settle for something that looks nice but doesn’t fit, doesn’t last, or just doesn’t feel like them.
We wanted to change that.
Short History
Glove-making in Transylvania
Leather craftsmanship has deep roots in Romania, especially in Transylvania, where working with leather has been part of local life for generations. Târgu Mureș became one of the region’s small but important hubs for glove production, home to workshops and factories that built their reputation during the communist era, when Romania’s glove‑making industry was at its strongest. Even after those factories were restructured or privatized, the craft didn’t disappear — many of the artisans stayed, carrying their skills forward and keeping the region’s tradition of careful, reliable glove‑making alive.
