Cognac carpincho with yellow stitching — the connoisseur's leather, and the one that grips best at the wheel.
Carpincho comes from the capybara and shares much of peccary's character in a slightly different register. Its surface carries a fine, evenly dotted grain, and the leather is soft, pliable and notably good at grip — which is why it has a long history as a driving glove leather.
Like peccary it is a wild hide with limited supply, but it is less widely known. That makes it the quieter choice: recognisable to people who know leather, unremarkable to everyone else.
The yellow stitching against cognac is a deliberate contrast — enough to notice, not enough to shout. Currently stocked in burgundy, green and cognac. Each pair is hand-finished in our workshop in Târgu Mureș, Transylvania.
Free shipping across the European Union, delivered in 3–7 days with tracking included. Outside the EU: €30, free over €200 — €50 to Australia, New Zealand, India and Vietnam. Customs duties may apply outside the EU.
