Quick answer: A made-to-measure pair takes up to five days in our workshop in Târgu Mureș, plus three to seven days' delivery within the European Union — so most orders reach their owner within 8–12 days of confirmation. Shipping within the EU is free.
The steps and the time they take
- You tell us what you want and send your measurements. Write to info@nmgloves.com with the type of glove and your hand measurement in centimetres (how to measure).
- We confirm the details and the price. We tell you what is possible, what it costs and when it will be ready. Nothing is made until you are happy with all three.
- We make the pair. Up to five days in the workshop. The gloves are cut by hand and sewn by experienced glove makers; depending on the model, a fully hand-sewn pair takes up to eight hours of work.
- It travels to you. Three to seven days within the EU, with tracking. Outside the EU: €30, free over €200; €50 to Australia, New Zealand, India and Vietnam, and customs duties may apply.
What can be made to measure?
Size, leather, colour, lining and stitching. The leathers are Finnish deerskin, Italian lambskin and nappa, Peruvian peccary and carpincho; linings are cashmere, rabbit fur or silk, or none. Bespoke men's driving gloves start at €110, and the final price depends on the leather and the amount of hand-work. See how bespoke works, or the longer guide to how bespoke leather gloves are made.
Questions
Can I return a made-to-measure pair?
No. Custom pairs are made to your measurements and cannot be resold, so they are not returnable. That is why we take time over your measurements first; if you are unsure, ask us before ordering.
What if I need the gloves by a certain date?
Tell us the deadline when you write. We will say whether it is possible before anything is made.
Do my hands need to be the same size?
No. If your hands differ, measure both and we can make a pair that accounts for it.
