Quick answer: Measure your dominant hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb, with the hand half-bent. Our women's sizes run from 6.5 to 8.5: 17 cm is a 6.5, 19 cm a 7, 21 cm a 7.5, 22 cm an 8 and 23 cm an 8.5. A driving glove should feel snug but never uncomfortable.
How do I measure my hand?
Use a tape measure around the knuckles of your dominant hand, excluding the thumb, with your hand half-bent. Keep the tape snug but not stretched. The circumference in centimetres gives your size.
Which size am I?
| Circumference | Women's size |
|---|---|
| 17 cm | 6.5 |
| 19 cm | 7 |
| 21 cm | 7.5 |
| 22 cm | 8 |
| 23 cm | 8.5 |
How should a driving glove fit?
Slightly snug, but never uncomfortable. Leather relaxes a little with wear and takes the shape of your hand, particularly deerskin and peccary, though it does not stretch a full size. If you cannot close your hand comfortably, the glove is too small; if there is loose material at the fingertips, it is too large. Choose the size that fits now rather than one you hope to grow into.
What if I am between sizes, or my hands differ?
Write to us before ordering. We make gloves to individual measurements, including pairs where the left and right hand differ — see how bespoke works. Made-to-measure pairs cannot be returned.
Which women's driving gloves do we make?
Hand-sewn in Târgu Mureș, Transylvania, in Finnish deerskin, Italian lambskin and nappa, Peruvian peccary and carpincho — full-finger, crochet-back or fingerless. See the women's driving gloves, and our leather guide.
Questions
Can I return gloves that do not fit?
Standard sizes, yes, within 30 days if unworn and unused, with tags and in the original packaging. Custom-made pairs cannot be returned.
Should I choose lined or unlined?
Unlined gloves give the most feel at the wheel and suit autumn, spring and mild winters. Lined gloves are warmer and suit real cold. Lined and unlined pairs are cut to the same size.
