A peccary driving glove for men, hand-finished and ready to wear from the first outing.
Our peccary comes from Peru. The animal is a wild relative of the pig native to South America — not a boar — and its hide is unusually light for how hard-wearing it is. The grain is unmistakable: hair follicles growing in groups of three leave a pitted texture no other leather has and no embossing convincingly imitates.
The leather breathes, moulds to the hand and deepens in character with age rather than wearing out. It is thin enough to keep real feel at the wheel and soft from the first wear, so there is no breaking in. Available in dark brown and black.
Each pair is hand-cut and finished in our workshop in Târgu Mureș, Transylvania, where our family has made gloves since 1925.
We can make this glove in any colour combination on request — the leather, the stitching and the piping chosen separately. The peccary colour chart in the product images shows the shades we work in; contact us with the combination you have in mind.
Free shipping across the European Union, delivered in 3–7 days with tracking included. Outside the EU: €30, free over €200 — €50 to Australia, New Zealand, India and Vietnam. Customs duties may apply outside the EU.
