Yellow peccary with black hand-sewn stitching and piping — our rarest leather in its brightest shade, framed by a clean dark line.
Our peccary comes from Peru. The grain is unmistakable: hair follicles growing in groups of three leave a pitted texture no other leather has. It is exceptionally soft from the first wear, naturally breathable, and it moulds to the hand rather than stiffening.
The cut is a classic driver: perforations along the fingers and back to let the hand breathe, four open knuckles for free movement, and a snap closure at the wrist. The glove is unlined, so you feel the wheel through the leather.
The stitching and piping are set by hand along the seams. The piping keeps the line clean — harder to do well than it looks.
Each pair is hand-sewn in our workshop in Târgu Mureș, Transylvania.
We can make this glove in any colour combination on request — the leather, the stitching and the piping chosen separately. The peccary colour chart in the product images shows the shades we work in; contact us with the combination you have in mind.
