A peccary driving glove for women with a crochet top and a strap closure fastened with a button at the wrist, hand-finished and ready to wear from the first outing. Available in cork, black, dark brown, white and yellow.
Our peccary comes from Peru. The animal is a wild relative of the pig native to South America — not a boar — and its hide is unusually light for how hard-wearing it is. The grain is unmistakable: hair follicles growing in groups of three leave a pitted texture no other leather has and no embossing convincingly imitates.
The leather breathes, moulds to the hand and deepens in character with age rather than wearing out. It is thin enough to keep real feel at the wheel and soft from the first wear, so there is no breaking in.
A crochet top and a button strap at the wrist give the glove the look of a classic driving glove.
Each pair is hand-cut and finished in our workshop in Târgu Mureș, Transylvania.
Sizing: measure around your knuckles, excluding the thumb, and check the sizing chart.
